Duckfat on Middle Street was started in 2005 by Food & Wine's Best Chef, James Beard winner and three time Chopped Champion Rob Evans and his wife Nancy Pugh. In 2018 Duckfat's sister location—Duckfat Frites Shack opened on Washington Ave sharing an outdoor beer garden with Oxbow Blending & Bottling. This location houses our production kitchen as well as a food window. Duckfat specializes in charcuterie, smoked meats, preservation, fermentation, sandwiches, house-made sodas and our renowned iconic Belgian duck fat fries. We are a diverse company full of opportunity for both skilled and up and coming cooks looking to learn.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking a hard working, straight forward cook who enjoys the business. We work strongly with systems and are seeking someone who enjoys a structured environment. Our place is small but diverse and this position has room for creative input. It is a great crew that works at the Beer Garden and we are looking to add someone that appreciates a professional kitchen with minimal drama.
Need someone with experience.
Must have good, healthy communication skills.
Desire to be part of a well established, collaborative team.
