Opened in 2005 by Nancy Pugh and Rob Evans, chef-owner of Hugo's, a AAA 4 diamond restaurant, Duckfat is proud to be independently and locally owned. Chef Rob was named "Best Chef Northeast" by the James Beard Foundation in 2009 and recognized by Food & Wine as one of the "Best New Chefs 2004". Despite all of his recognition, Rob strives to keep his focus on great homemade food made from the best quality ingredients, a vision he shares with his dedicated team.
